Description

Hello :) I am Sam, an accountant based in Oxford,UK. I am taking a sabbatical in 2024 looking to explore Europe/Asia while volunteering my time with communities.

My hobbies included football, long distance running and reading.

Cultural exchange is significantly important to me, I thoroughly enjoy teaching both English and sport while learning more about different cultures.

I have experience volunteering in High schools as a English teacher (Italy). I also have experience working in a English summer camp (Poland).

A levels in Economics, Business Studies and Accountancy.
AAT Level 3 and 4 at Abingdon and Witney College.
ACCA Part Qualified at Reed Business School. (to be completed)

Work experience
-I have worked at my local butchers as a cleaner while completing my A levels.
-Working for OCIS as a finance officer.
-Working for a accountancy practice as a trainee accountant.

Travel experience
I have travelled to many places over Europe. My favourite cities I have visited so far are Prague and Budapest!

Volunteer experiences
I volunteered in Poland in August 2023. This program consisted of improving the English of kids and teenagers through conversations and activities. Also I am currently helping a family in Milan with English and then will be traveling down to Naples to assist/teach football with kids/teenagers.

I've already discussed some of my hobbies in my profile. I am partially enjoying reading Russian literature at the moment. Also I enjoy collecting football shirts from around the world!
